When granddaughter, Jada, was born with leukemia, a donor-match was located and Jada made a miraculous recovery. In honor of her grandaughter's health, Jeanna has decided to walk across the country (in the dead of winter) to raise awareness and build support for the bone marrow registry (all that's required is a cheek swab). We'll hopefully have the online registration up soon, but for now if you're able to pay by cheque/postal order in pounds sterling (cheques from UK banks) you can register by going to the registration page and downloading our registration form. "Why this survey?

"At the 2009 TUC LGBT Conference, delegates agreed that the issues faced by bisexual trade union members had not been given sufficient attention in the past. To put right this omission, the TUC LGBT Committee decided to survey members who identify as bisexual, with a view to establishing what the main issues are, so that action can be taken.

"We have asked unions to distribute the survey through their LGBT networks, to encourage bisexual members to complete and return it to the TUC. Members are welcome to complete it anonymously if they wish, and also to pass it on to other members who may not be signed up to the union’s network, but who identify as bisexual.

"The deadline for completed forms is 25 January 2010."
